Job Description We are seeking a friendly, customer service focused Pro Shop Manager to join our team at Sebasco Harbor Resort.This is a Full Time Seasonal (March-October) position located in Phippsburg, ME.In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the pro shop, making reservations and assigning tee times, and providing guests with information about the green, hotel, and the local area.If you have a knack for customer service, we'd like to meet you.Job Description We are seeking a friendly, customer service focused Pro Shop Manager to join our team at Sebasco Harbor Resort.This is a Full Time Seasonal (March-October) position located in Phippsburg, ME.In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the pro shop, making reservations and assigning tee times, and providing guests with information about the green, hotel, and the local area.If you have a knack for customer service, we'd like to meet you.Work Performed As a Pro Shop Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our golf course members and hotel guests, providing exceptional service in assisting them with their needs, informing them of green rules and regulations, and selling merchandise in the store.Sell golf merchandise Inform players of course rules and regulations Greet guests, providing friendly service Manage reservation system and assign tee times Maintain inventory records and reconcile cash register sales Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming events at the course, hotel and onsite restaurant to be able to advise members and guests Take payment for pro shop items and events, and resolve any payment discrepancies Respond to member/guest issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner Keep pro shop clean and organized Report any equipment or property damage to direct supervisor Ensure carts and other equipment are ready for rental as needed Perform duties as outlined in the training procedures, following standard operating procedures.Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management Requirements High school education or equivalent experience Must be able to work onsite at the location Hours required:Full time 40 Hours week AM;Mid;PM;Must be flexible;Weekends;Holidays Proficiency in the English language Willingness to learn new platforms Ability to stand at front desk for long periods of time Ability to lift/push up to 25 lbs.Ability to work independently Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities Previous customer facing experience preferred Golf knowledge a plus Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French Compensation $25 Hourly Benefits Earned paid time off Employer-contribution medical/dental/vision insurance Optional life insurance Short term/Long term disability Optional 401k with employer match Employee discounts at participating hotels Option to sign up for on-demand pay with DailyPay Refer a friend - get paid extra when they join our team!
