POSITION SUMMARY: To challenge and develop process mastery and energy efficiency in our plants by leading technical & operational advancements that contribute to reducing operating costs while enhancing product quality and ensuring environment compliance. Direct, coordinate and exercise functional authority for planning, organizing, controlling, integrating and completing process engineering projects within area of responsibility. Provide technical support to plant personnel on new and existing processes and be a resource for information for the design and installation of process equipment applicable to the lime / minerals manufacturing processes. RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS: Provide technical support and direction to the operations in solving equipment and process problems Lead process audits including heat and mass balance measurements and calculations to identify improvement opportunities Lead studies on raw materials and fuels to determine and evaluate potential improvements and impact on quality and efficiency Identify process/production limitations and sources of waste in the process and define corrective actions.
