Job Description
Process Engineering Manager Salary Range: $190k to $208k We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of process engineers and technicians within a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment. This is a high-impact role focused on wet etch process excellence, team leadership, and continuous improvement . 🔧 Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technicians, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching Monitor and control wet etch processes to ensure stable, high-quality manufacturing performance Troubleshoot technical issues and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence Identify and execute continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives Increase operational flexibility by qualifying processes across multiple tool platforms Support new equipment qualification and production ramp Partner cross-functionally with operations and equipment engineering to meet output targets Develop process specifications and transition new technologies into production Support capital planning through justification and implementation of new equipment Promote a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance 🎯 Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred) 8+ years of wet etch process engineering experience (or 3+ years with advanced degree ) 3+ years of leadership experience in semiconductor manufacturing Strong expertise in wet etch processes, materials, and integration challenges Experience with industry-standard wet process equipment platforms Solid understanding of advanced CMOS and/or RF wafer processing technologies and yield interactions Proven ability to lead teams and solve complex technical problems Strong analytical skills, including DOE methodologies and statistical analysis Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Familiarity with MES systems and statistical tools is a plus 💡 If you’re passionate about leading high-performing teams and driving process innovation in semiconductor manufacturing, we’d love to connect.
