This Position reports to Quality Control Manager Your Role And Responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance. The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the EL - Smart Power in Senatobia, US. You will be mainly accountable for: Assisting engineering staff to develop test protocols as necessary to investigate the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products. Providing support to other functional teams as needed to deploy incoming test protocols and to perform First Article Inspections. Utilizing safety systems to perform work, resulting in an accident-free workplace. Working with department staff to improve existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, accuracy, and/or reliability of test outcomes. Collecting, records, and evaluate utilizing Lean 6 Sigma, engineering standards and specifications, the quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance to requirements. Trains Machine Operators in basic quality test routines to support quality-at-source processes and verifies quality assurance testing. Qualifications For The Role Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial desired) with 0-2 years of manufacturing experience. Master’s degree is preferred. Strong understanding of quality management systems and Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to monitor and report supplier performance (KPIs), quality issues and development actions. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Open to sponsorship.
