Job Description We are seeking a Processing Assistant to join our growing team! We are searching for a motivated, ethical, sales-oriented team player who is looking to be part of a company with a great future in mortgage lending.This is a good position for someone who wants to jump start their career in the mortgage industry.We offer a tremendous opportunity for growth, compensation, and benefits.Key Responsibilities:Loan File Support Assist Mortgage Loan Processors with day-to-day file management Help prepare and organize loan files from initial submission through closing Ensure all required documentation is collected, uploaded, and properly labeled in the LOS Borrower & Partner Communication Communicate with borrowers to request missing items (paystubs, bank statements, insurance, etc.) Follow up with third parties such as employers, insurance agents, title companies, and HOAs Maintain a professional, helpful tone aligned with Neighborhood Loans' client-first culture Documentation & Compliance Review incoming documents for completeness and accuracy before processor review Verify that documents meet basic investor and regulatory requirements Assist in clearing conditions and preparing files for underwriting submission Pipeline & Deadline Management Track outstanding items and ensure timely follow-up Update processors and loan teams on file status changes Support pipeline flow to keep loans on schedule for closing Administrative & Operational Support Order and track third-party services (VOEs, appraisals, title work, etc.) Maintain clean notes and documentation within the system Assist with special projects and operational improvements as needed Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (phone, email, internal teams) Comfort working with technology and document management systems About Us:At Neighborhood Loans, we are passionate mortgage lending professionals with one goal in mind - make our clients, our priority.Neighborhood Loans is a Residential Mortgage Lender utilizing a business model aimed at educating and enabling consumers in a rapidly changing market.Our mission is to provide the finest service based on the highest standard of ethics, values and customer care.In doing so, we will earn the loyalty and trust of homeowners who will become our lifelong customers and friends.Job Type:Full-time Location:In-Office Compensation:$30,000-$36,000/per year plus bonuses Benefits:Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $30,000.00 per year Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
