Job Highlights This is a full-time, paid internship position where you will work on real projects with real results! This Internship is broadly focused in scope and may cover the areas of Negotiation, Spend Category Strategy Development and Execution, Supply Continuity, Data Compilation and Analysis, and Commodity Market Analysis This role is based in Brentwood, TN. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Work on Contract Compliance Projects Global Commodity Data Compilation, Analytics, and Forecasting Supply Continuity Efforts such as Risk Assessments, Supplier Capacity Discussions, etc Process Optimization and Documentation Support the Procurement team through hands-on project work focused on data analysis, supplier management, and operational procurement activities This internship provides exposure to core procurement processes, cross-functional collaboration, and real-world supply chain decision-making, while contributing measurable cost savings and process improvements Gathers data to send out RFQs to supply base Record quote data to track supplier performance Prepare and send Requests for Quote (RFQs) to suppliers Conduct lead-time analysis and assist with MRP updates Work with large data sets and apply data integrity criteria both with accuracy and timely execution Must be capable of prioritizing workload and handle multiple projects at one time Maintain MRP by updating various supplier and purchase item elements Develop, review, analyze, and interpret various reports Attention to detail required Work closely with cross-functional teams including sourcing, supply chain, and operations Other duties as required and assigned Qualifications: Demonstrated progress toward a Bachelors' degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, Financial Management, related field of study, or STEM degree Sophomore standing or greater by end of Spring 2026 semester Highly motivated, agile, team player with good critical thinking skills and an ability to multi-task and prioritize Excellent knowledge of MS Excel Perform ABC part analysis to support inventory and procurement strategies Solid mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills required Assist buyers, commodity managers, and procurement leadership with day-to-day operational tasks as needed Solid analytical skills required Ability to develop productive working relationship with internal customers Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
