Position Summary As a Procurement Specialist, you will drive our manufacturing and operational success by managing end-to-end domestic and international supply chains. You will oversee the entire purchasing lifecycle—from identifying material needs to managing global logistics. By cultivating vendor relationships, coordinating international freight, and ensuring regulatory compliance, you will maintain a seamless material flow to support our Pendergrass facility and SKD manufacturing strategies. Key Responsibilities Planning & Sourcing: Partner with production, engineering, and operations to identify BESS manufacturing requirements. Evaluate domestic suppliers and manage the RFQ process to secure optimal pricing and quality. Negotiation & Contracting: Secure favorable terms regarding unit costs, MOQs, and lead times. Ensure all contracts and Incoterms (e.g., DAP, FOB) protect company interests. PO Management & Logistics: Execute Purchase Orders via the ERP system. Proactively track domestic and international shipments, coordinating with carriers to mitigate disruptions and ensure on-time delivery. Quality & Finance Coordination: Resolve material discrepancies (NCR/RTV) with quality teams. Partner with Finance to reconcile invoices against POs and facilitate timely payments. Supplier Relations: Build and evaluate domestic supplier partnerships through periodic performance reviews to drive continuous improvement. ERP & Reporting: Maintain accurate data (inventory, lead times, supplier masters) within the ERP. Generate reports on procurement spending and cost-saving initiatives. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years in procurement or logistics. ERP system proficiency is mandatory. Industry: Manufacturing experience is preferred, specifically within the energy storage or electrical sectors. Communication: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written skills. Mindset: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working within a multi-cultural environment. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word). Availability: Must be able to work on-site in Pendergrass, GA, with the flexibility to coordinate across global time zones.
