Produce Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Clerk to support daily operations in our produce department.This role focuses on maintaining high standards for freshness, quality, and presentation while providing excellent customer service.Responsibilities Receive, stock, and rotate produce using proper FIFO procedures Cull and remove damaged or outdated product to maintain quality standards Build and maintain attractive produce displays Assist customers with product questions and selections Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, prep areas, and backroom Safely lift, move, and stock produce (up to 40-50 lbs) Work independently while supporting team goals Qualifications Some prior produce or grocery experience required Strong attention to detail and product quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependable with consistent attendance and punctuality Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods Strong work ethic and professional attitude What We're Looking For Speed and efficiency Attention to freshness and quality Strong customer service skills Reliability and accountability Ability to work independently This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of quality produce.Pay:$19.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours:32.0 - 40.0 per week Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Education:High school or equivalent (Required) Experience:produce clerk:1 year (Required) Work Location:In person.
