Job Description
Description Executes high-quality, user-centered design solutions with a strong emphasis on production-ready outputs and consistent application of established design systems. Translates defined product requirements and user insights into detailed interaction designs, scalable UI patterns, and developer-ready specifications, while also collaborating with Product, engineering and business stakeholders to reduce ambiguity and align on clear, actionable direction. Operates as an embedded delivery partner within product squads, ensuring rapid iteration, alignment with design standards, and seamless hand off to engineering. Applies structured design thinking approaches to refine solutions and improve usability, while primarily focusing on execution excellence and throughput. Ensures experiences are accessible, consistent, and aligned to enterprise design principles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the design rollout for new Card refreshes while defining and maintaining a scalable framework for Card refreshes. Opportunities to lead discussions with our product, engineering and business partners in a collaborative environment. Produce wireframes, interaction flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs ready for engineering implementation for cross domain journeys. Collaborate with other designers across the enterprise to ensure new components work within existing experiences. Connect the dots across overlapping teams and initiatives, ensuring alignment, reducing duplication, and creating cohesive end-to-end user experiences Apply and extend existing design system components and patterns to ensure consistency and scalability Create and maintain Figma components, variants, and documentation within shared libraries Translate product requirements and research insights into clear, testable design solutions Iterate quickly based on stakeholder and user feedback Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure feasibility and pixel-accurate delivery Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met Present design rationale clearly and concisely in working sessions QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of hands-on product design experience in agile delivery environments Demonstrated experience working within established enterprise design systems Strong applied understanding of design thinking principles, particularly iterative testing and refinement Advanced proficiency in Figma (components, auto layout, variants, library management) Experience preparing detailed specifications and managing design-to-development handoffs Comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight SKILLS UI Execution & Interaction Design Design Systems Application + Figma Local Library Experience Prototyping & Iterative Testing Accessibility & Inclusive Design Component Library Management Agile Collaboration Requirements Translation Detail-Oriented Production Design Skills Ui design, Figma, design system, Interaction design, Product design, Prototyping, component library, typography, typographic hierarchy Top Skills Details Ui design,Figma,design system,Interaction design,Product design,Prototyping,component library Additional Skills & Qualifications Design systems experience is a must, design foundations in libraries is a huge plus What she looks for in a portfolio: someone who understands the design thinking process, someone who understand importance of user research, even if case study, someone who understands typographic hierarchy, dealing with a lot of compliant content, understand color, contrast etc. as they are developing themes Soft skills: collaborative, working directly with engineering and product partners, be able to handle feedback, someone with experience working in a pod Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
