This role blends agile product ownership with considerable MarTech domain knowledge, including marketing automation, customer data, content delivery, and analytics, while ensuring compliance, platform stability, and continuous value realization. To be successful as an Equities Trading System Engineer - AVP, you should have: Demonstrated considerable ownership of product vision, backlog, and value delivery, acting as the clear voice of the customer Excel at prioritization and decision making, balancing business value, risk, and technical feasibility Effectively translate business and marketing needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria Communicated confidently with both technical teams and business stakeholders to drive alignment Apply agile delivery practices to continuously improve outcomes and adapt to change Other Highly Valued Skills Include Ample MarTech domain knowledge, including marketing automation, customer data, content management, and analytics High level of technical literacy (APIs, integrations, data flows) with the ability to work effectively with engineering teams Data driven product mindset, using analytics and insights to guide roadmap and prioritization strategies Confirmed ability to drive change management and user adoption across business teams Experience in banking or financial services, with ample understanding of security, compliance, data protection, and regulatory expectations for data and cloud solutions, supported by a relevant degree and extensive enterprise delivery experience You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills. This role is located in our Wilmington, DE. Purpose of the role To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. Accountabilities Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development. Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team. Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure. Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance. Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards. Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
