We are actively seeking Product Owner – Order API & SAFe Agile for one of our client, Please share your resume with current location & full contact info Job Title:Product Owner – Order API & SAFe Agile Locations:Redwood City, California / Dallas, TX - Hybrid Locals Preferred Job Description We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong expertise in Order Management APIs , SAFe Agile delivery , and Epic-to-Story decomposition to drive digital commerce and enterprise integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders, architecture teams, and Agile delivery squads to define and prioritize API capabilities that enable scalable order processing and seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the product backlog for Order Management and Order API initiatives. Translate business requirements, features, and epics into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Drive end-to-end API product lifecycle management including requirement gathering, prioritization, delivery, and release planning. Work closely with architects, engineering teams, QA, and business stakeholders to define scalable API solutions. Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, System Demos, and Retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Prioritize backlog items based on business value, technical dependencies, and customer impact. Define API functional requirements, workflows, integration patterns, and service contracts. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation. Facilitate stakeholder discussions and manage competing priorities across teams. Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and release readiness. Support UAT activities and validate delivered functionality against business expectations. Maintain product roadmaps, feature documentation, and release notes. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience as a Product Owner or Business/Product Analyst in Agile environments. Hands-on experience with Order APIs, Order Management Systems (OMS), or eCommerce integration platforms. Proven expertise in SAFe Agile Framework and Scrum methodologies. Experience converting Epics → Features → User Stories with acceptance criteria. Strong understanding of REST APIs, API integrations, JSON, and microservices architecture. Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Rally. Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and work with distributed teams. Excellent analytical, communication, and prioritization skills. Experience working in enterprise-scale digital transformation programs. Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail, eCommerce, supply chain, or order fulfillment domains. SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) certification preferred. Familiarity with API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or Kong. Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
