About Us24 South Apparel is a growing custom screen printing and embroidery shop in Boise.We produce apparel for businesses, schools, events, and organizations across the Treasure Valley.We're looking for a dependable, hard-working Production Assistant who takes pride in staying productive, working with urgency, and helping the team get quality work out the door every day.ScheduleThis is a full-time, Monday through Friday position.Shift hours are typically 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with some days possibly running 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.Some flexibility may be needed during busy seasons.This is a physically demanding, fast-paced production job.You will be on your feet all day in a busy shop environment.This is not a desk job and it is not a slow-paced position.We need someone who can move with purpose, stay focused, and keep working even during downtime.There is always something to do in a production shop, and we are looking for someone who naturally stays busy, helps where needed, and takes initiative without having to be told every step of the way.Candidates must be able to lift at least 60 pounds.What You'll Do As a Production Assistant, you'll help keep the shop running smoothly by supporting production, screen room prep, packing, organizing, and general shop tasks.Daily Responsibilities Print Production Support Catch shirts coming off the automatic press Fold, load, and assist with press setup Organize print runs and stage garments Pack finished apparel into boxes Label and prepare orders for pickup or delivery Maintain clean and organized workstations Help keep production moving during high-volume days Screen Room Tasks Wash out screens Reclaim, degrease, and prep screens for upcoming jobs Assist with coating and drying screens Help keep screen room chemicals and supplies stocked General Shop Help Sweep, clean, organize shelves, and keep inventory tidy Take out trash and help maintain overall shop cleanliness Load and unload boxes and materials Lift and move items weighing 60 pounds or more Jump into whatever task is needed to support production Stay productive during slower moments by cleaning, organizing, prepping, and helping the team stay ahead What We're Looking For Reliable and on time Hard-working and self-motivated Able to stay focused and move with urgency Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Able to stay on your feet for the full shift Able to lift at least 60 pounds Organized and detail-oriented Reliable transportation Respectful of the shop, equipment, and team Most importantly:we want someone who works hard and stays busy.If you need constant direction, avoid physical work, or struggle to stay productive during downtime, this position will not be a good fit.We value people who take initiative, look for ways to help, and take pride in doing their part every day.Bonus Skills Not required, but a plus:Experience assisting with or running an automatic screen printing press Familiarity with production equipment such as exposure units, dryers, or ink mixing Previous screen printing experience in any capacity Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Some flexibility may be needed during busy seasons Why Work With Us?
