Production Associate, 2nd Shift

Description Spring Valley began on a small family farm in Jackson, WI in 1961 and has grown into a leading manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products. From our 8 blending locations and multiple shipping locations, we serve a wide variety of customer markets including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally. Our Jackson WI plant is eagerly seeking Production Associates to join our team! Responsibilities include: Stacking 50lb bags on pallets & wrapping pallets for shipping Mixing/blending material for fertilizer and ice melter Running and monitoring machines to ensure safety and efficiency Operating a forklift to move pallets between buildings. Operating a front end loader to transport bulk materials General cleanup of work areas Miscellaneous projects as needed (inventory, grounds keeping, etc) Pay & Perks: $20.00-$25.00+ per hour starting pay based on experience. Additional $1.00 per hour shift premium for working 2nd shift. We offer cross training opportunities in other areas of production. Excellent communication and organization in a fast paced production environment. Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus! Ability to follow written & verbal instructions Ability to work 2nd Shift (2:15pm-12:45am Monday-Thursday) Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures Pass a post-offer drug screen Reliable transportation to get to and from work Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably
