Wells Johnson Company is a leading medical device manufacturing, sales and distribution company seeking a dedicated, full-time contributor for our production and assembly areas. The Production Associate will produce finished products by assembling components and subassemblies. Position is permanent, full-time, Monday-Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm) Summary In addition to being focused and hard-working, the candidate will be someone who can communicate effectively with other members of the team and management. The candidate will be self-motivated and willing to learn. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Prepares work to be accomplished by studying work instructions, prints specifications, parts lists, subassemblies, tools and material. Prepares parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurement instructions. Assemble components by examining and logging connections for correct fit and verifying fit against specifications. Maintains inventory supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs and organizing workspace. Maintain and service tools and equipment used. Perform soldering on small wire gauges. Document actions by completing production and quality forms. Perform all work in accordance with company and quality standards. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required. Basic math skills Ability to work independently and with little supervision Exceptional attention to detail and directions Basic understanding of hand tools Adequate dexterity Speak, write and read English proficiently Requirements Exceptional reliability Self-starter with a proactive approach Take pride and responsibility in work completed Dedicated and Trustworthy Quick learner who can take instruction well Attention to detail Lift up to 30lbs unassisted and 75lbs assisted as needed Must be able to work with small wires and components Disclaimer: The above is intended to describe the general content and requirements for the performance of this job.
