Pay Rate - This position starts off at $18/hr with a raise to $18.50/hr after 90 days and then another raise to $19/hr after 1 year.Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our production team.This role involves supporting daily production operations within a fast-paced salmon processing and packaging facility.The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing settings and be comfortable operating various tools and equipment.This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to the efficient assembly and production processes of our facility.Responsibilities Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including assembly lines ensuring smooth operation throughout shifts Perform routine inspections of machinery and report any malfunctions or safety hazards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to meet safety standards Support quality control processes by inspecting products for defects or inconsistencies Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper handling of tools and materials Skills Prior experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse environments is preferred but not required Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing workflows Ability to read technical diagrams or instructions is beneficial Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Good physical stamina for standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and walking throughout large facilities Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment issues This role is vital to maintaining efficient production operations within our manufacturing facility.We value candidates who are proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute their skills to a dynamic team environment.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 - $18.50 per hour Benefits:401(k) Health insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
