Sugar Plum Vegan Plant Based Bakery is looking for an experienced, dependable, creative baker and cake decorator to join our growing team. We are seeking someone with professional bakery experience who is passionate about quality ingredients, consistency, artistry and teamwork. This position includes production baking, cake decorating, dessert preparation and learning our specialty cheesecake process. We are looking for someone detail orientated who can work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen while maintaining high standards. Responsibilities -Cake decorating and finishing beautifully and efficiently -Making Frosting in various flavors and natural colors -Baking cakes, muffins, cookies and other desserts -Following recipes with precision and consistency -Measuring ingredients accurately -Assisting with daily bakery production -Learning and preparing our signature cheesecakes -Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards -Helping with prep, organization and kitchen flow -Working independently and as part of a team -Assisting with packaging when needed Qualifications -Professional bakery experience required -Cake decorating and baking experience required -Strong attention to detail and consistency -Ability to follow recipes exactly -Comfortable with repetitive production work -Ability to multi-task in kitchen environment -Positive attitude and reliable work ethic -Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds -Experience with vegan and/or gluten free baking is a plus, but not required Job Type: Part-time Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Benefits Employee discount Work Location: In person
