Job#: 3031400 Job Description: Role: Production Designer Rate: 45-50/hr Location: 4 days a week onsite in Houston, TX (77002) Project Duration: W2 Contract with Conversion Potential Job Summary Our client is excited to offer a dynamic opportunity in a collaborative and creative environment for a Mid-Level Production Artist (Graphic Design) to join our marketing team. In this role, you will leverage your strong design skills to contribute to a wide range of marketing projects, ensuring that all visual content aligns with our brand identity and strategic goals. You will be responsible for supporting the visual design process by interpreting project needs, gathering relevant data, and thinking creatively to produce innovative design solutions. As a key contributor to our marketing organization, you will handle various aspects of graphic design, from initial concept to final production. This includes creating high-quality visual assets, adhering to brand guidelines, and integrating design feedback to deliver polished deliverables. Your ability to blend creativity with technical precision will help elevate our marketing campaigns, drive engagement, and support business objectives. Qualifications Core Responsibilities Creative Leadership: Lead the development of high-impact visuals, campaign assets, and brand evolution. Project Management: Manage multiple design briefs simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines and managing workflow Brand Stewardship: Update and enforce visual style guides to maintain consistency across print and digital touchpoints. Stakeholder Collaboration: Present creative solutions and design rationales to internal stakeholders or clients. Knowledge Graphic Design Fundamentals: Understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition. Software Proficiency: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and familiarity with other design tools as needed Pre-Press and Print Production: Basic knowledge of pre-press processes, print file preparation, and print production standards. Digital Marketing Channels: Awareness of digital platforms like social media, email marketing, and web design, along with their specific design requirements. Brand Guidelines: Understanding of brand identity and the ability to adhere to established brand standards in all creative assets. Photography and Image Editing: Basic knowledge of photography and photo editing techniques to enhance images for marketing use. Skills Design Execution: Ability to execute design tasks quickly and accurately, with a strong eye for detail. File Management and Organization: Proficiency in managing digital assets, version control, and maintaining organized project files. Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration and Communication: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with designers, marketers, copywriters, and other stakeholders. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-Solving: Strong creative problem-solving skills to develop solutions for design challenges. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in the production of digital and print-ready files. Photo Retouching and Image Manipulation: Competence in editing and retouching photos to enhance visual quality.
