Job Description
Our client is the retail marketing team of a national youth organization seeking a Production Designer with Packaging design skills to update a product line to meet compliance requirements. This assignment will be onsite Monday-Thursday in the Charlotte office and remote on Fridays, and will start at 40 hours/week for the first few weeks, and then could decrease occasionally to 30-35 hours/week. This assignment will start in early June and go through end of the year. Hours are 8-4:30. The Production/ Packaging Designer will: Utilize premade templates to update existing packaging design in adherence to new compliance requirements Follow a robust process to clean up existing assets, update labels/packaging, and ensure new designs are compliant Interface with buyer and packaging compliance department and apply changes to packaging design Communicate necessary changes between internal teams and update materials within system Occasionally support internal design staff with other production design requests as needed (sell sheets, catalogs, etc.) The Production/ Packaging Designer must have: 5+ years of hands-on packaging production design experience Proficiency in InDesign and Illustrator Experience in making compliance production design updates is highly preferred! In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
