Job Description
The role of our Production Crew is to execute the daily production schedule in one of the work areas on the floor.These areas include the tofu line, sanitation, packaging, kitchen, warehouse and boxing.In each area and on each shift, Production Crew members follow the instruction of Shift Lead.In some cases Production Crew members will be scheduled to perform a particular job or task, but in other cases the specific work area may change throughout a shift.Slab packing work includes; The Slab Packing Department is responsible for vacuum packaging tofu slabs, ensuring each product meets quality and safety standards.Team members operate the vacuum sealers, run packaged tofu through the metal detector, verify product weights, label and box finished products, and palletize cases for storage or shipment.This department plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, food safety compliance, and efficient workflow in the final stage of tofu production.We currently have shifts available in these specific areas/shifts; 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM Tues-Fri 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Monday Follow all Hodo rules regarding workplace safety and personal protective equipment.Employee safety is our number 1 concern Follow all Hodo Good Manufacturing Principles policies and procedures.Food safety is our primary production goal.Adhere to Hodo Code of Conduct policies and procedures Adhere Hodo Attendance & Break time policy Report all accidents and near-miss incidents immediately to Shift Lead and/or area supervisor Perform all documentation & paperwork accurately and legibly.Record times and temperatures in real time and from real thermometers.No estimations Ask questions when you are unsure about how to complete a task correctly and well Working conditions Must be able to work warm and cold temperatures (45 F to 95 F).Must be able to work with soy beans and soy products Must be available for occasional overtime and weekend work Physical requirements Must be able to stand continually during the work shift.Able to bend, stoop squat, and twist on a constant basis Must be able to reach overhead Lift 50 lbs.on a regular basis Push or pull racks, baskets, packaged boxes, trays or bins that weigh up to 250 lbs.Able to tolerate varying degrees of cold and hot temperatures (40 to 110 degrees) Able to perform repetitive tasks Disclaimer The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this job classification.They are not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and skills required of personnel so classified.Diversity is fundamental at Hodo, Inc.We foster an inclusive working environment where the different strengths and perspectives of each employee is both recognized and valued.We believe that building successful relationships with our customers and our communities is only possible through the diversity of our people.And a diverse workforce leads to better teamwork and creative thinking, as well as mutual understanding and respect.The Hodo Inc policy is to provide employment, training, compensation, promotion and other conditions of employment without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, medical condition, marital status or any other legally protected status.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$19.50 per hour Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):Are you able to work 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM Tues-Friday AND 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Monday?
