Job Description
General Machine Operator Operate welding and T-bolt V-band machines.These machines weld and assemble components to completed assembly.They automatically weld together parts of fabricated metal products.Operators select and identify and move parts (bands, screws, housings, springs, etc.) as required.Select settings for electrodes as required.Set up assembly machine, curler, welder as required, and pack material/components as specified by customer.Operator will perform routine maintenance as required and must keep accurate records, which include production and quality.Manual Machine Operator Operators will work as part of a production team operating multiple assembly machines in the Manual Machine Department.Duties include but are not limited to machine operation, packing, loading materials and components, basic maintenance and repair, 5-S, quality control functions, training, various manual assembly operations, and record keeping as required.Operators are expected to follow safe practices as established.Automatic Machine Operator Operators will work as part of a production team operating multiple machines in the Automatic Machine Department.Maintain all operational aspects of machines exclusive of electrical requirements.Duties include but are not limited to machine operation, loading materials and components, basic maintenance and repair, 5-S, training, quality control functions, packing and record keeping as required.Operator must provide the tools necessary to perform duties.Operators are expected to follow safe processes as established.Shift:M-F, plus voluntary weekends/daily overtime.Afternoon Shift- 3pm- 11pm, Night Shift- 11pm-7am, employees bid on shifts and positions.Day shift does come avaiable at times as well.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent Mechanical and mathmatical ability.All candiates will be required to pass a mechanical and mathmatical competency test before being hired.Applicable and/ or transferable experience and skills to be able to perform the required tasks of the job as stated above, in a manufacturing setting.Teamsters Union Position:$20.00/hr.starting rate- can work up to 31.64/hr.top rate progressively in 1st year.$0.55 per hr.shift differential for afternoon shift & $0.65 per hr.shift differential for night shift.Bid on the shifts and positions Shifts:11p-7am, 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday Voluntary daily and weekend overtime Pay:$20.00 - $31.64 per hour Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Prescription drug insurance Retirement plan Vision insurance Application Question(s):What is an example of your mechanical ability that's not listed on your resume?
