If so, we are seeking a Production Manager who is responsible for leadership and oversight for production and maintenance operations across assigned light manufacturing areas or value streams. This role is responsible for achieving operational objectives related to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and customer thrill while supporting regional financial performance. The Production Manager leads teams, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement to ensure efficient, compliant and scalable operations Key Accountabilities: Operations Champion Safe Behaviors. Promote and support compliance with Company safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards. Establish, monitor, and improve key operations metrics aligned to Safety, Quality, and Productivity. Champion daily communication/collaboration between operations and sales, supply chain, and account coordinators by communication, decisions, policies, and all matters that affect their performance and results. Lead departmental meetings, generating action plans impacting production department KPI’s. Presents departmental metrics and action plans in management staff meetings. Oversee maintenance planning and scheduling to support equipment reliability and minimize operational disruption. Leads the production and material planning team to increase operating efficiency and increase service levels through an optimized scheduling approach. Ensure ERP production data accuracy and reporting integrity. Financial & Resource Management Support regional and branch leadership in developing and achieving annual strategy and budget. Manage operating costs, including labor and controllable expenses, and support activities that contribute to overall financial performance. Monitor standard unit cost and adjust processes and/or suggest capital equipment improvements. Continuous Improvement Own capacity planning across shifts and value streams to balance service levels with cost efficiency. Identify operational constraints and implement continuous improvement methodologies to increase throughput and equipment utilization Develop standard processes and scalable production models to support growth. Manage & Develop Others Recruit and hire employees who meet the dynamic needs of Berlin Packaging. Partnering with designated staffing agencies to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Coach and mentor employees with a focus on enhancing their overall skills. Provide clear direction along with a level of accountability that generates superior results. Promote a continuous improvement mode of operation; readily challenge all employees to take individual and/or group performance to the next level. Accountable to ensure that all responsibilities of Supervisors and key personnel are accomplished on a shift to shift and project on a project basis. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Must have at least 7+ years of managerial experience in distribution, manufacturing, or equivalent environment. Ability to develop and lead teams. Excellent time management skills are required along with the ability to manage multiple tasks with a focus on output and results. Aptitude for change management in a Customer Thrill Environment with an Anything is Possible mindset. Demonstrated knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts. Strong financial acumen. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (EXCEL, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, OneNote, Teams, etc.). Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
