Responsibilities Hamilton is seeking a Production Operator to work with our team. They will perform various tasks associated with the manufacture of products. The Production Operator will be responsible for the producing defect-free parts using tools/ and/or equipment that can include hand tools, measurement instrument, small non-automated benchtop equipment. Production Operators will need a keen eye for detail and quality while working in a fast-paced environment. The hours for this position are 7:00am - 3:30pm Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance Adherence to product quality standards and procedures Work in a production environment assembling medical devices Interact effectively with all support groups and fellow employees Requires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructions Use of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machinery Assemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctly. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas. Experience using diagrams or blueprints and follow other written or verbal instructions. Mechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power tools. Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework. Basic math required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting parts. Requires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and quality. Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions. Proven experience with safe production practice. Stable work history. Education/Experience: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must be a student currently enrolled in classes leading to an accredited bachelor's degree in a related engineering, science, or life science field.
