OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes by effectively managing scheduling and resource allocation.This position requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles to optimize production flow and meet customer demands.Will schedule our cut to length lines daily.Working in SAP, gathering items to put into a production ticket and schedule those on machines, Stainless, Carbon.!st shift Monday through Friday - 11 am to 7 pm - $20.00 an hour.Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.Collaborate with various departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure the timely availability of materials and resources.Utilize SAP and other systems to track production progress, inventory levels, and resource allocation.Analyze data to identify trends, forecast future production needs, and make informed scheduling decisions.Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.Monitor production performance metrics and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and resolve scheduling conflicts.Skills Proficient in SAP for production planning and inventory management.Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.Experience with lean manufacturing techniques to improve operational efficiency.Ability to forecast demand accurately using analytical skills.Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments.Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems is a plus.Join us as we strive for excellence in our production processes while fostering a collaborative work environment.Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that we meet our operational goals efficiently.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $20.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute:Norcross, GA 30091 (Required) Ability to Relocate:Norcross, GA 30091:Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location:In person.
