About the Role: The Production Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and high-quality operation of manufacturing processes within the production environment. This position is responsible for managing and optimizing the use of production equipment, including offset printing and laser machinery, to meet production schedules and quality standards. The specialist will oversee the calibration and maintenance of tooling and printing presses to minimize downtime and maximize output. By closely monitoring the production process, the role ensures that all products meet stringent specifications and customer requirements. Ultimately, the Production Specialist contributes to the seamless flow of manufacturing operations, supporting the company’s commitment to excellence and timely delivery. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred. Proven experience working with production equipment, specifically offset printing and printing press machinery. Strong understanding of production processes and scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform equipment calibration and tooling adjustments accurately. Familiarity with safety protocols and quality standards in manufacturing settings. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in manufacturing technology, industrial engineering, or a related discipline. Experience with laser production machinery and engraving machinery Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Certification in equipment maintenance or calibration techniques. Proficiency with production management software and data tracking tools.
