Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Production Supervisors to fill openings in a local Manufacturing company in Tulsa, OK.Position Summary:The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing daily production operations on the manufacturing floor to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in an automotive facility.This role oversees a team of production employees and works cross-functionally with quality, maintenance, and logistics departments to meet operational goals.Key Responsibilities:Supervise, train, and coordinate production team members to meet daily production schedules and customer requirements.Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, minimize downtime, and optimize resource use.Communicate shift performance, targets, and issues to team members and upper management.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.Investigate and resolve production and personnel issues promptly and professionally.Maintain accurate records of attendance, production output, scrap, downtime, and incident reports.Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment in accordance with company standards.Lead daily team meetings and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain compliance with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards.Manage labor resources to minimize overtime while maintaining staffing levels to meet demand.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.3-5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.1-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.Strong understanding of production workflows, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.Effective leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP, MES, etc.).Preferred Qualifications:Associate or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.Certification or training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.Experience with unionized environments (if applicable).Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish) is a plus.Physical Requirements:12-hour shifts Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a manufacturing setting.Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs.Tolerance for heat, noise, and manufacturing-related environmental factors.Note:This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.About Crown Staffing Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies so they can build rewarding careers and strong organizations together.In 2024, we employed over 29,000 professionals in industrial, manufacturing, administrative and healthcare jobs countrywide.Our relationships with top employers mean you'll learn about positions you won't find anywhere else.Discover the opportunity for meaningful work and a dynamic career when you work with Crown Staffing!
