Position Title:Production SupervisorLocation:San Antonio, Texas 78223Classification:Non Exempt - Full Time - Temporary to HireDepartment:ProductionSchedules Available:7am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-12am, 11pm-7:30am Jones Networking is recruiting for Production Supervisors to join a large food manufacturing facility in San Antonio, TX.Our client offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and career growth potential.Benefits include comprehensive health insurance (medical/dental/vision), 401(k) company match, life and disability insurance, flexible spending account, employee assistance program and corporate discounts.Production Supervisor Position Summary: Ensure new employees complete Quality Assurance orientation and all current employees complete annual training, including allergens, hygiene, safety, sanitation, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), and good manufacturing practice (GMP) required for the position. Train new employees to properly perform tasks and complete recipes. Provide coaching to operators who need additional help to improve performance. Verify raw materials, partially prepped food, and completed food meet quality standards. Verify equipment works correctly at the beginning, during, and end of each shift. Verify safety policies, including the proper use of knives, grills, ovens, searing equipment, and other food preparation and packaging equipment are followed. May assist operators with recipe procedures if needed to train/coach an employee or if the workload requires it. Report any quality or equipment problems to the supervisor.Qualifications Summary- Minimum one year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Experience in food production/manufacturing desired, or experience in the automotive industry is relevant. Minimum six months of hands-on leadership experience, including managing small teams of up to 30 employees. Ability to train, explain, and answer questions regarding proper procedures. Requires the ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
