Our client, a growing manufacturer in Fort Wayne is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, ensuring alignment with production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading teams toward continuous improvement. Shift: 2/2/3 Schedule - NIGHT Compensation: 65-75K + 5 % Quarterly Bonus Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily production activities and assign work to team members (9 total) Develop and manage employee schedules to meet operational demands Lead shift meetings and collaborate cross-functionally with other departments Train and mentor operators to ensure consistent performance and skill development Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a safe working environment Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency Monitor production metrics including quality, output, waste, and cost control Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to production and operations Partner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and preventive maintenance Conduct inspections to ensure machinery performance and product quality Support inventory control efforts to optimize stock levels and reduce waste Assist with budgeting, planning, and operational reporting Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required 5+ years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing setting required Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (including varying temperatures) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (occasionally more with assistance) Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement What Our Client is Looking For: A proactive leader with a “can-do” attitude Someone who values safety, quality, and teamwork Strong attention to detail and accountability
