Job Description
Manufacturing Shift Supervisor Needed Schedule: Rotating Shift (Week 1: Wednesday–Saturday | Week 2: Thursday–Saturday) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on our D Shift (4 PM–4 AM) . This role is responsible for supervising a team of up to 15 employees, ensuring safe and efficient production, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing background, prior leadership experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership position working closely with production, engineering, and management to maintain uptime, improve processes, and develop employees. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production goals are met safely and on schedule Supervise, coach, and support a team of up to 15 manufacturing employees Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and provide hands-on leadership on the floor Oversee advanced composite fiber processing equipment and plant machinery Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues to minimize downtime Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability Train employees on equipment operation, work instructions, and safety procedures Enforce 5S standards to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment Collaborate with engineering and leadership to drive productivity and continuous improvement Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience Previous leadership or lead experience in a production environment Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures Ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance Preferred: Associate’s Degree or technical degree Background in textile manufacturing or composite materials Experience leading teams in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment Shift ScheduleD-Shift: 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM Rotating schedule: Week 1: Wednesday – Saturday Week 2: Thursday – Saturday Why Join Us?
