Screen Reclaiming: Removing ink, emulsion, and tape from used screens, handling chemicals safely, coating screens for reuse, and keeping the screen room clean and organized. Screen Printing Production: Loading and unloading garments on automatic presses, following job order instructions, and monitoring print quality. Finishing & Shipping: Folding, packaging, and preparing finished orders for shipment. Quality Control: Verifying order counts and quality before packaging. General Shop Support: Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure smooth operations. Compensation: $14 - $15 hourly Responsibilities: Ensure the screen reclaiming process is efficient by removing ink, emulsion, and tape from used screens with precision. Handle chemicals safely and responsibly, maintaining a clean and organized screen room for optimal workflow. Coat screens for reuse, ensuring they are prepared and ready for the next production cycle. Load and unload garments on automatic presses, following job order instructions to maintain consistency and quality. Monitor print quality closely, making adjustments as needed to meet our high standards. Fold, package, and prepare finished orders for shipment, ensuring each package meets our quality expectations. Verify order counts and quality before packaging, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction with every order shipped out the door. Qualifications: Reliable and on time every day. Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable in a production shop environment with exposure to inks and chemicals. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision. Team player with a positive attitude. Prior shop or production experience is a plus, but not required. About Company Kidd Company is an apparel decorating shop in Clio, Michigan. We screen print, embroider, and produce branded merchandise for businesses across a wide range of industries. We are a hands-on, hardworking team, and we are looking for another reliable person to join us. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday. No experience in screen printing is required; we will train the right person. What we need is someone who shows up on time, works hard, and takes pride in doing things right.
