General Description: The role of Production Operations Team Lead is essential in ensuring that our production operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering quality products on time by following standard manufacturing procedures. The Production Operations Team Lead will act as a knowledge resource for other team members to resolve production problems and answers questions about processes, methods, or equipment. Reviews daily assembly production records, monitors, and analyzes metrics to coordinate materials and resources for daily operations. Provides support for managing production operations to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Essential Functions: Supervises all aspects of the organization’s logistics management function to deliver and distribute products and materials to the destination, to include: Responsible for daily workflow, standard and non-standard job creation and allocation in the ERP system. Maintains due dates and advise any issues to Manager/Customer Operations. Leads and coordinate with the configuration team to ensure all goods are configured (including correctly loading software/firmware, issuing of licenses) according to requirements and adequate procedures, prior to shipping. Daily configuration of orders as per instructions. Ensure all transactions are properly completed in the ERP system, especially before end of month. Supervise and support a team (scheduling, task assignment, workload balancing) Train new hires and coach existing team members Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback Handle escalations, conflicts, and team morale Ensures that RMA repairs and advanced replacement are handled within the allotted timeframe. Assures compliance with all company procedures to ensure quality. Configuration and maintenance of production benches and production area. Ensures that each station is orderly and properly equipped. Reviews / updates files and USB flash drives whenever new releases are available. Formation / Training of configuration team on tools, products and procedures. Continuous improvement of all processes encountered in the day-to-day activities. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance. Assist in shipping/receiving activities as needed. Other duties from time to time may be required in relation to the configuration and logistics of products.
