A rare apprenticeship opportunity.This position has not been open in 20 years.At Blanton's Candies, candy making is still done the old way, by hand, with care, and with skills passed down over time.We're looking for someone who wants to learn the craft and stick with it.Pay:$16/hour to start $18/hour once training is complete (4-12 weeks, depending on how quickly you learn) Full-time M-Th 7-4pm No candy experience required.Warehouse or commercial kitchen experience is a plus.Candidate must be able to maintain standards of cleanliness.You'll work 8-10 hours a day, often lifting 50 lb batches, keeping a very clean workspace, and paying close attention to every step.It's not for everyone, but for the right person, it's a skill set that can last a lifetime.If you're dependable, hardworking, and want to learn something real, we'd love to hear from you.Please message us for details.We are looking to fill this position before the end of February.Job Type:Full-time Job Type:Full-time Pay:$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours:38 per week Work Location:In person.
