Benefits Starting pay of $15.00 per hour Set Schedule (Monday - Friday) Only 8 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) Paid half hour lunch Paid Time Off All Major Holidays Off (New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day) Employee Discount Full job description Summary:This person needs to be responsible for efficient processing and quality control of books on a high-volume production line.Primary duties include sorting incoming materials, conducting quality inspections to identify and remove damaged or unsuitable items, and accurately scanning books using barcode systems to route them to designated destinations.Demonstrates strong attention to detail in distinguishing between acceptable products and waste materials, ensuring only quality books proceed through the production process.Maintains productivity standards while performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Requires ability to stand for extended periods, handle materials of varying weights up to 50 lbs., and operate scanning equipment with precision and speed.Our production crew works best with 6-7 scanners and a floor manager to to meet production quotas and shipping deadlines.This is a physically active job in a book warehouse.Temperatures may vary in the warehouse during the summer and winter.Shift work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This is a team environment.You must be good at working with a team.Have great communication skills.You are responsible for you individual scan number per hour.You will need to be self motivated to hit your goals.Flexible to change when it comes to sorting different loads.Willingness to jump in wherever you are needed.Will be on your feet for a long period of time.Be able to work in a loud environment with fans and music without getting distracted.Must take direction or corrections well from supervisors.This is in a book warehouse with fluctuating temperatures.This is a permanent, full time, year round position.Education and or Experiences:No prior experience needed.All the training is done in shop.If accomplishing goals and setting new records for growth motivate you then Blue Vase might be an excellent fit for you.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off Application Question(s):Are you available to work from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday - Friday?
