About No Meat Factory Inc.With our extensive expertise in plant-based foods, we're dedicated to crafting winning products that offer unique flavors and textures, serving as top-notch plant-based alternatives.No Meat Factory products offer outstanding nutritional value, extended shelf life, and full compliance with all food safety regulations.Position Summary Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Production Worker is responsible for day-to-day processing and packaging activities.This includes but is not limited to, daily preparation of production and packaging machines at start-up and safely operating production machines to assist with the process of mixing, heating, cooling, packaging and sealing of products.The Production Worker will be responsible for adhering to GMP, Food Safety, HACCP and Quality standards to ensure the highest quality within No Meat Factory.Job Duties Completion of pre-assembly work for stock assembly lines, set up belts, open boxes.Feed raw material into production machinery.Monitor the production process.Pack finished goods in preparation for shipping.Application of labels.Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently.Carry out basic quality and testing checks.Store goods and raw materials properly in the warehouse.Assist with training new hires and existing personnel as required.Adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMPs), facility cleanliness, personal hygiene and machine sanitation when working with food products.Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.Follow all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality and Operational procedures (SOPs) as defined in NMF's Quality Management System Other tasks as assigned.Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience working in food manufacturing considered an asset.Basic reading, writing and math skills required.Forklift training or certification considered an asset.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisor.Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills.Good attention to detail.Adaptable, resourceful and a willingness to learn.Work Location:10120 269th Place NW Stanwood, WA 98292 Core Working Hours:Must be available Monday to Friday Every other Saturday required Morning (AM) or Evening (PM) shifts available based on business needs Schedules may change from time-to-time Weekend work, overtime, & statutory holiday hours will be required Working Conditions Long periods of standing, sitting and bending required for the role.Frequent lifting of up to 50lbs.Will be exposed to a noisy and wet environment with varying temperatures.Allergens present - e.g.soy, wheat, etc.Required to wear PPE such as safety boots, hair nets, lab coats and more.No jewelry allowed on the production floor.No Meat Factory Inc.is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), age, national origin, protected veteran or military status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or any other category prohibited by local, state or federal law.The compensation for this position in Stanwood, Washington is $18 per hour.The compensation depends on qualifications and experience.This position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrued paid time off plan annually, personal medical and parental leave, paid holidays, and family care benefits.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$18.00 per hour Expected hours:No less than 40 per week Benefits:Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s):Do you have Production Experience?
