JIT Staffing in Medina has openings in Wellington for multiple positionsJoin our dynamic team as a Machine Operator / Forklift Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced warehouse environment! In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes, to efficiently load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.Your expertise will help ensure smooth warehouse distribution, accurate order picking, and safe materials handling.This position offers an energetic atmosphere where your mechanical skills and warehouse experience will directly contribute to operational success and customer satisfaction.Duties Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently Pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy Handle heavy lifting tasks with proper techniques to maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment and mechanical components to prevent malfunctions Support warehouse management by organizing materials, stacking pallets, and maintaining a clean work environment Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts and improve overall workflow efficiency Qualifications Proven warehouse distribution or warehouse experience with familiarity in order picking and materials handling Valid forklift certification; experience operating clamp trucks, crane equipment, and RF scanners preferred Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods; comfortable working with construction or industrial materials Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Prior experience in shipping & receiving roles or as a warehouse supervisor is a plus Join us in a role that energizes your skills!
