Job Summary “THIS IS A PART TIME POSITION IN WILTON BETWEEN 4-12 HOURS A WEEK” EVERY SUNDAY MORNING: 0900-1300 EVERY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON: 1600-2000 (During School) EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT: 1830-2230 THIS POSITION HAS THE POTENTIAL OF MORE DAYS & HOURS DURING HOLIDAY SEASON, WHICH YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR: “THIS POSITION IS BEST SUITED FOR SOMEONE THAT IS RETIRED OR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR EXTRA HOURS” “PLEASE CHECK FROM YOUR HOME ADDRESS TO THE CITY FOR AN APPOXIMATION ON MILEAGE & TIME BEFORE APPLYING” We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Armed Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the Clients Facility as well as employees and visitors. Responsibilities Conduct thorough surveillance of the facility, including responding to alarms and incidents. Patrol the premises, inside/outside to identify potential security threats and take appropriate action to prevent or mitigate them. Provide First Aid and CPR services as needed, and assist in emergency situations. Manage conflicts and disputes in a professional and respectful manner. Maintain a high level of situational awareness and respond promptly to any security breaches. Interact with employees and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner, providing assistance and support as required. Maintain accurate records of incidents, alarms, and other security-related events. Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment. Perform other duties as required, such as participating in training exercises or assisting with special events. Experience: Must have a current CT Guard Card Must have a current CT Blue Card Experience in law enforcement or a related field is highly desirable. Proven experience in security or a related field, including experience with surveillance Excellent communication and conflict management skills. Physical fitness and the ability to perform duties in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
