Professional Armed Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and vigilant Professional Armed Security Officer to join our dynamic security team. OVER NIGHTS @ 2100-0500 & 2300-0700 Duties Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches Perform armed patrols of designated areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms with appropriate conflict management techniques Verify the identity of visitors, contractors, and employees while maintaining strict access control procedures Conduct thorough inspections of personnel and property to prevent loss prevention issues Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies as needed Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a focus on armed security operations Valid certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or surveillance training are a plus Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and CCTV monitoring systems Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public Must possess a valid armed security license as required by local regulations CT Guard Card CT Blue Card Triple Cert Taser Must Aquire: First Aid/CPR/AED Stop The Bleed Narcan De-Escalation Join our team today to help create a safer environment through your dedication, vigilance, and professionalism!
