About the job Professional Engineer-Diver Location -Santa Cruz, California, United States Salary: $90,000 - $125,000 Job Description Skills: California PE (Civil or Structural - required) or ability to obtain within 6 months, ADCI commercial diver, NHI UW Bridge Inspector, must be able to obtain a DBIDS and TWIK card, 3-5 years experience in waterfront/marine underwater inspection Qualifications: BS in Civil or Structural Engineering Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer-Diver for their Santa Cruz, California office. The candidate must be willing to travel on short notice and for extended periods of time. The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise inspection and reporting efforts for underwater and above-water inspections of waterfront/marine structures and bridges. Duties/Responsibilities: Underwater inspection of waterfront/marine structures and bridges. Preparation of reports and other professional documents. Engineering analysis and design. Construction drawings and specifications. Regulatory permitting. Operation and maintenance of inspection and diving equipment. Communicate with clients, subcontractors, fellow employees, and others for job-related activities. Required Skills/Abilities: California PE (Civil or Structural - required) or ability to obtain within 6 months. ADCI commercial diver (required). ADCI Dive supervisor (preferred). NHI UW Bridge Inspector (required). NHI Bridge Inspection Team Leader (preferred). All dive certifications should be current, including dive physical, CPR/FA, & Emergency Oxygen. </
