About Us:NewLand Nursery & Landscaping is a small established Nursery, Landscape, and Lawn & Garden care company on the coast of Maine.Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gardening Foreman to join our team.As a Gardening Foreman, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of our clients' gardens, landscapes, and outdoor spaces.If you have a passion for plants and enjoy working outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity for you.Responsibilities: Plant, cultivate, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants - Prepare and maintain rural residential and commercial gardens - Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners - Conduct regular inspections to identify pests, diseases, and other plant-related issues - Must be personable, neat in appearance, and able to communicate with clients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening equipment and tools - Maintain individual property records - Provide recommendations for improving garden aesthetics and plant selection Requirements: Previous experience in gardening required - Knowledge of native and ornamental herbaceous plants is essential - Knowledge of plant care techniques including planting, pruning, and fertilizing - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively - Must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicle Join our team as a Professional Gardening Foreman and contribute to creating beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients.Apply now!
