Job Summary We are seeking a vibrant and talented Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team! Your expertise in hair cutting, coloring, extensions, and styling will help clients look and feel their best. You will also play a key role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring sanitation standards, and providing personalized consultations. Duties Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, hair extensions, and special occasion looks. Apply advanced techniques such as balayage, highlights, and color theory to achieve desired results. Use salon software like SQUARE for scheduling appointments, client management, and retail sales tracking. Provide expert advice on hair care routines, product recommendations, and retail upselling to enhance client satisfaction. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to industry regulations. Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, managing appointments, and answering inquiries. Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development and team cohesion. Experience Proven experience as a professional Hairdresser or Cosmetologist with a strong portfolio of diverse styling work preferred. Skilled in hair coloring techniques based on color theory principles. Experience with hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, and wax is a plus. Familiarity with barbering techniques including straight razor shaves is desirable. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively. Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
