Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail trimming to meet each pet’s specific needs and breed standards Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Restrain animals safely using animal handling techniques and restraint equipment to facilitate grooming procedures Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, including sanitation of tools and work areas Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide recommendations for ongoing pet care Assist with pet sitting or kennel duties as needed to support overall animal care operations Support veterinary staff with basic animal handling or restraint tasks when required Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or veterinary assistant Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable Strong animal handling skills with the ability to restrain pets safely and compassionately Ability to lift heavy objects (heavy lifting) such as large dogs or equipment safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with pet owners and team members Familiarity with pet sitting, kennel operations, or equine experience is a plus Basic understanding of animal behavior and restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff Join us in creating a joyful environment where pets look great, feel loved, and owners leave delighted!
