Company Overview Special Services Transportation Agency (SSTA) is a private nonprofit organization based in Colchester, Vermont.Established in 1982, SSTA is dedicated to providing accessible transportation services for the elderly and disabled, ensuring that individuals with specialized mobility needs can travel safely and comfortably.Summary The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing technical management and support regarding the organization's multiple revenue programs including NEMT, ADA, and O&D.They are also responsible for overseeing all compliance aspects, such as program qualifications, procedures, guidelines, and billing functions.Job Duties (include but are not limited to):Interface with program partners regarding parameters and guidelines.Maintain program records in compliance with program requirements.Maintain NEMT approval letters including vehicle exceptions, in-city lists, and out of area.Maintain NEMT NOD's including letters and updating scheduling software.Complete billing verifications routinely.Manage all R&G mailings.Complete O&D no-show mailings and call ahead management.Complete NEMT no-show mailings and call ahead management.Accurately completes NEMT weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.Manages hardship and volunteer manifests.Manages ADA fare collection and verification.Triage ADA fare calls in a timely manner.Handle out of area rides.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent is required.A minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience.A valid driver's license is required.The ability to pass a thorough background check to work with vulnerable population is required.Skills/Abilities:Proficient in reading and understanding rules, regulations, laws, and being able to explain them to clients.Proficient in utilizing computers and programs such as Microsoft Suite.Proficient in communication; both orally and in writing with all levels of personnel.Proficient in understanding both oral and written instructions.Proficient in time management and the ability to work independently.Proficient in working effectively with others.SSTA is an equal opportunity employer.Pay:$21.00 per hour Benefits:403(b) Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location:In person.
