Job Summary As the Program Director at Halo House, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and structured environment for young women on their path to recovery from substance abuse and mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from overseeing daily operations to supporting residents in reaching their recovery goals. You will collaborate closely with treatment teams, families, and staff to ensure a holistic approach to care and support. This role is full-time (Monday-Friday 8am-4pm) and salary-based. Your duties will include conducting drug tests, coordinating transportation to appointments and meetings, managing medication protocols, creating and enforcing house rules, handling intake and discharge processes, and maintaining open communication with clients, staff, and outside providers. Your role will also involve staff management, including creating schedules, providing guidance, and overseeing training and development. Additionally, your role will involve facilitating client accountability in attending 12-step meetings, providing feedback and guidance to residents and staff, and collaborating with outside providers to ensure adherence to house rules and productivity. Overall, your role as the Program Director at Halo House will be pivotal in shaping a nurturing and empowering environment for young women in recovery, helping them build a strong foundation for a healthier and more fulfilling future. Duties include but are not limited to: Conducting drug tests (both UA's and breathalyzing, as well as sending out drug tests to the lab if necessary) Providing transport to and from clinical appointments (IOP, therapy, psychiatry) as well as 12-step meetings if applicable Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick and informed decisions, and take decisive actions to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents and staff in a fast-paced environment Helping clients stay on top of their medication protocol (observing them take meds, picking up meds from the pharmacy, creating med lists and communicating with clinical teams) Creating the staff schedule and handling all staff matters Enforcing house rules amongst the clients as well as the staff (including write ups, restrictions, etc.) Admissions, touring, and business development (includes going to networking events, developing relationships with outside providers and treatment facilities , helping grow the client base and community at Halo, conducting outreach for potential clients needing sober living, etc.) Doing intakes and discharges Creating documents in preparation for intakes Case Management, collaborating with parents and clinical teams on a weekly basis to create a cohesive treatment plan for clients Delegating tasks to staff either through Slack or during shift exchanges Creating and keeping clients accountable for weekly benchmarks to measure progress Knowing client's whereabouts and checking their locations Holding clients accountable in attending 12-step meetings as well as being active in their step work Providing feedback and guidance towards clients and staff in a direct manner Facilitating a weekly house group with the clients to build community and address house matters Collaborating with staff on shift to make sure house rules are being adhered to and clients are being productive Hiring, onboarding, and training new employees Overseeing any maintenance needs for the house (or delegating to appropriate staff) Meeting with clients in Guardian Angels (our aftercare program) Aftercare program duties includes weekly case management sessions, communication with parents and/or outside treatment teams, drug testing, occasional house visits, accountability in 12-step work, etc.) Requirements Valid license and a car for transporting clients Experience in leadership roles in treatment/recovery (detox facility, residential, SLE, IOP, etc) Experience in case management General knowledge of addiction treatment Minimum 2 years of sobriety (if in recovery) Excellent communicatio
