Program Manager - Automotive Tier 1

Program Manager, Automotive Tier 1 Approximately 5-7 years experience Looking for a Program Manager – This role is focused on managing projects associated with product launch and related aspects - track launch timing, program costs, key milestones, customer commitments (with Automotive OEM's), supplier commitments, delays, and action items while coordinating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Sales, suppliers, customers, and internal leadership. Job Function / Responsibilities Manage automotive product launch programs from kickoff through manufacturing launch. Track program timelines, launch milestones, costs, deliverables, open issues, risks, delays, and action items. Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Sales, suppliers, customers, and other internal project team members. Provide regular updates to internal leadership and customers on program status, timing, delays, risks, and required action items. Help keep launch programs moving by identifying timing issues, cost concerns, supplier delays, customer-impacting risks, and resource needs. Work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to negotiate program commitments, launch timing, and project expectations. Maintain clear communication across cross-functional teams to keep programs aligned, visible, and on schedule. Requirements Approximately 5 -7 years experience in Project Management or Program Management automotive or Account Management or in Application Engineering or Customer Support positions. Must have Project Management or Program Management experience at an Automotive Tier 1. Some experience working with customers, suppliers, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and launch teams. Strong ability to track schedules, budgets, costs, milestones, risks, launch timing, and action items. Position Location: Auburn Hills.
