The Manager of the Intensive Community Support, Behavioral Health Services Team (ICS/BHST) and LIFE Path oversees the delivery of comprehensive mental health services, ensuring high-quality care for clients. This role involves leading treatment teams and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. Key responsibilities include managing program operations monitoring, developing, and managing the performance of team members. The Manager also oversees budgets, program evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential to effectively support both staff and clients, fostering a therapeutic and supportive environment. Qualifications: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. BBS registration, licenses, credentials or like certifications must remain active and valid with their governing entity, if applicable. Five years’ experience in child and family counseling field. Five years’ supervisory experience required. Drug Medi-Cal experience preferred Proficient in Electronic Health Record navigation and Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A valid California driver’s license is required of staff who have regular driving duties, and the driving record must meet the requirements of their position and be approved by the agency’s insurance company. Essential Job Functions: Operate an agency or personal vehicle for work-related activities which may include, client visits, meetings, trainings, or other agency-related appointments Ensure compliance with driving requirements, including maintaining a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and proof of insurance as required by agency policy. Knowledge of current issues/trends in the field of counseling psychology, and social work. Ability to communicate ideas in oral and written form. An ability to instruct in group and individual settings. Ability to work effectively with cultural/ethnic diversity. Physical, emotional, and mental health adequate to perform duties. Provide monthly client data and statistical/status reports to the Quality Assurance Department and to referring agencies as required. Provide time to address client concerns regarding services. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with all personnel legal requirements, including staff oversight, hiring, scheduling meal periods, and approving timesheets. Responsible for implementing leadership development concepts in staff oversight, including time management, purposeful coaching and development, effective communication, and meeting facilitation. Responsible for contract review and ensuring deliverables are met. Responsible for executing organizational strategies and initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (such as HIPAA) for reports, records, and policies as outlined in contracts. Develop and maintain a procedural manual for program operations. Responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with potential adverse events, outcomes, or behaviors stemming from legal, ethical, or operational process breakdowns. Develop the annual budget for the program/department and collaborate on budget reports. Develop and collaborate on program/department grants and RFPs. Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies related to audits, charting and paperwork policies and procedures. Each leader is directly accountable for the outcomes of their program or area of responsibility through a mindset of ownership, continuous improvement, and follow-through. Collaborate to develop and expand department/program services, track relevant metrics, and make modifications as needed. Maintain good working relationships with referral agents/agencies. Supervise and support staff to meet monthly productivity expectations. Responsible for preventing and controlling infection. Responsible for maintaining a culture of quality and safety. Responsible for reducing the risk of injury to clients, staff, and visitors.
