Job Description
Overview At our Early Learning Center the Program Manager manages daily operations, ensures compliance with state licensing, assists in supervising staff, and participates in curriculum development to ensure a safe, high-quality educational environment. They are responsible for scheduling, maintaining parent communication, and fostering positive child development. Duties Administrative Operations: Maintaining records for attendance, health, and compliance and monitors adherence to all center policies. Introducing new clients to the Center and conduction tours as needed. Licensing and Safety: Ensuring the facility adheres to state, local, and federal regulations. Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, and well-maintained. Staff Management: Will assist in the hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating teachers and support staff. Scheduling staff to maintain proper ratios. Ongoing identification of gaps in processes and process improvements. Curriculum and Programming: Overseeing the development and implementation of educational programs and daily activities. Parent and Community Relations: Meeting with parents to discuss child development, managing tours for prospective families, and handling inquiries. Other: Any other duties assigned by Management as deemed necessary. Qualifications Higher education teaching experience in early childhood education or related fields Experience: Previous experience working with children and in a supervisory role is preferred. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods, frequently requiring lifting up to 30–50 pounds Licensing: Must meet state-specific licensing requirements with Lead Teacher qualifications as a minimum. Skills: Influential leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a working knowledge of child development principles. Must work well as a team with other Program Manager(s) to ensure consistency of operations throughout the Center.
