Our client, a growing middle market sized company in the western Michigan area, is seeking a Project Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JOB COST AND PROJECT experience at a middle market sized company. RESPONSIBILITIES of the Project Accountant Project Accountant will have lead role in month end close, monthly financial statement analysis/preparation, and operations reporting Project Accountant will prepare Annual budget and update forecasts on a monthly basis or as needed Work closely with Business Unit team to identify/address risks and opportunities Maintain the analysis on capital project spending compared to plan Project Accountant will support Sales team on new business quoting/tracking/updating.
