Job Description

As the Project Director in our newly formed Major Projects group, you will help expand Westinghouse's capabilities to lead large, complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple P&Ls, with a focus on EPC-type projects requiring dedicated project teams and execution strategies. You will report to the VP of Major Projects. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States, though frequent travel to customer sites will be required. Key Responsibilities: Lead the execution of large-scale, multi-phase EPC projects with cross-functional teams and external partners. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and resource allocation. Be the primary interface with the customer, ensuring agreement on contract terms, scope, and execution strategy. Coordinate across multiple Westinghouse P&Ls and functional groups to ensure seamless delivery. Oversee subcontracted work scopes Manage Westinghouse scopes including engineering, procurement, field implementation, nuclear welding, and project controls. Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, regulatory standards, and quality expectations. Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to monitor performance and drive corrective actions. Provide executive-level reporting and updates to both Westinghouse and customer leadership. Mentor supporting PMs and project controls staff as the group scales.
