Upon joining CSM Group we will provide you with a robust onboarding program to expose you to broad aspects of the organization by meeting with operations, business leaders and peers to better understand how we operate. SUMMARY: The Project Engineer (PE) provides technical and administrative support for advanced technology and cleanroom expansion projects, with an emphasis on high purity process systems, controlled environments, and complex phased construction. Rather than focusing on footprint size, this role centers on supporting highly technical installations, stringent cleanroom protocols, and live facility execution. The PE performs regular field walks to support verification, documentation, and coordination related to cleanroom conditions, process mechanical installations, and safety/quality requirements. These activities are carried out in collaboration with the Construction Manager (CM), CPI, specialty trades, and the Owner, rather than serving as the primary compliance authority. The role also supports the SPM/PM team with scope development, bid coordination, schedule updates, logistics planning, submittal and RFI management, and construction documentation. The PE gathers pricing, backup, and scope narratives for Change Control Directives (CCDs) under the direction of the project management team. This position reports to the assigned Senior Project Manager. It is a full-time, FLSA exempt role requiring 40 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours as needed. Daily travel to one or more semiconductor job sites is required. INDUSTRY: Advanced Technology / Semiconductor Manufacturing Construction ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Preconstruction (10%) Assists in developing pre‑construction analysis and technical requirements for advanced technology and cleanroom environments. Supports development and maintenance of scope documents for process mechanical systems, cleanroom components, and high‑purity piping under the direction of the SPM/PM team. Assists with updates to project schedules, phasing plans, and site logistics tailored to semiconductor operations. Creates and maintains submittal logs for critical semiconductor equipment and components. Reviews, inputs, and distributes Bidders’ RFIs (BRFIs) with attention to accuracy and coordination. Solicits proposals from subcontractors specializing in semiconductor and process mechanical work. Participates in pre‑bid walkthroughs with emphasis on cleanroom and high‑purity installation requirements. Construction (70%) Attends project meetings and supports weekly tracking of advanced-technology construction milestones. Coordinates daily work activities with customers, CM team, and subcontractors; supports oversight of process mechanical and cleanroom installations. Prepares and submits permit applications when applicable. Manages tracking, routing, and coordination of contractor submittals for semiconductor systems; ensures timely distribution and return. Reviews shop drawings for completeness and coordinates review between architect, engineering teams, and trade partners. Tracks work hours, materials, and on‑site progress through daily reports. Compiles weekly project updates in project management software (Procore). Inputs and routes RFIs related to semiconductor‐specific technical issues; coordinates with design and trade partners for responses. Supports the CCD process by collecting pricing, documentation, and scope narratives (negotiation remains with SPM/PM team). Prep
