Job Description
Project Engineer W-Industries is an energy service company that specializes in Automation Solutions, I&E Construction Services, Power Generation and Packaged Equipment for the Energy and Industrial markets. Our expertise encompasses the full spectrum of system technologies from pneumatic - hydraulic control systems to state-of-the-art programmable solutions to chemical injection systems, and everything in-between. As a Project Engineer you will work with a team of mechanical and electrical engineers and design drafters who support the development of Switchgears, Motor Control Centers and Electrical Equipment Centers. It involves collaborating with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, and other functional teams to fully support the business team culture and goals. Requirements Responsible for the production of complete engineering design packages for the manufacture of Electrical Equipment Centers (EEC) encompassing the following: Mechanical Assembly, Architectural / Structural, Electrical Assembly, Grounding, LV Power Distribution, Lighting, HVAC, Fire Alarm, Telecommunications, Raceway Systems, Installation of Major Power Distribution Equipment (MV/LV SWGR & MCC), Installation of Customer Free Issued Equipment. Performing Design Load Calculations. Creating Interconnection Schematics, Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules. Serve as the primary technical focal point throughout the project life cycle. Responsible for producing a comprehensive engineering design package for construction / manufacturing. Responsible for project set-up to ensure documentation, engineering and quality standards are followed. Maintain awareness of contracted scope of supply, allocated budget and critical schedule milestones. Responsible for development of technical bill of materials and coordination with Procurement department to support purchasing process. </
