Job Description
H.E. Hodge Company is looking for a motivated, organized, and hands-on Project Engineer to join our growing team in Georgia. This role is a hybrid position that will spend approximately 50% of the time in the field and 50% supporting project management operations. The ideal candidate must be comfortable both on job sites and in a fast-paced office environment helping drive projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Assist with coordination and execution of active projects Conduct regular job site visits throughout Georgia and surrounding states Support field operations, installation teams, subcontractors, and scheduling efforts Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documents Track project schedules, materials, deliveries, and change orders Help ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Company standards Coordinate communication between customers, vendors, subcontractors, installers, and internal departments Identify and help resolve field and project-related issues proactively Utilize systems such as Acumatica, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management tools to support operations Preferred Qualifications Construction Management, Engineering, or related construction experience Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Comfortable working in both office and field settings Experience reading construction drawings and specifications Experience with Bluebeam and project management software preferred Willingness to travel to project sites as needed H.E.
